On this short contract, I worked to help establish a new Hardware Staging team. Alongside an outstanding team of skilled engineers, we were able to improve project turn-around and establish much-needed processes and protocols.

Starting as a volunteer, I quickly established my value and took charge of the technical communication platforms; writing copy, training volunteers and distributing over 500,000 campaign messages through email, text and other media.
I was honored to work for Erik Aadland building one of the best campaigns in the state of Colorado. We came up short, but I leave with new friends and a totally new experience. Thanks Erik!

User-Centric Design: Championing a user-centric design approach by conducting user research

Originally hired as a Systems Administrator, my responsibilities quickly expanded to management of our data infrastructure, upgrade design and migration strategy. Our IT ‘department’ is small and lean which added day-to-day user support to my plate alongside troubleshooting problems with the various systems.
While here, I have designed and implemented automation in processing Federal Income Withholding orders, which has reduced user processing time by more than 70 percent. I identified nearly $200,000 annual savings on telecom service by reviewing contracts and updating service at our 75 branch offices.

Providing assistance and expertise to businesses on the Rocky Mountain Front Range. My work at GGT ranges from direct customer support to project management and systems Architecture. Successful projects included cloud migration, disaster recovery and day-to-day user support. I earned the weekly productivity award at GGT eight times

Providing a range of IT services to small businesses in the Greater Denver area.

Was recruited by Digital Info Security Company (DISC) as project manager for a proprietary software product to secure email communication.
At the conclusion of that project, I was put in charge of the company IT infrastructure. During that time, I implemented server virtualization using VMware ESX reducing mail processing from twelve servers to two. Following successful virtualization, leveraged VMware Virtual Infrastructure tools to reduce Operating System (OS) license costs by $20,000 annually.
My last project at DISC was to design a new data center for new location; tasks included Internet connection circuits, IP addressing scheme, firewall rules and configuration, electrical power, generator backup, cooling, diagrams, budgeting & room layout.
